Edges and posture
Balance over the blade, and a forward stride that still holds together in the last five minutes of a shift.
Calgary · Flames Community Arenas
Small-group powerskating for hockey players. Precision mechanics, explosive power and the athlete mindset — from a coach who has been doing this since 1999.
Why this coach
What gets worked on
Every camp comes back to the same mechanics, scaled to the age group in front of the coach.
Balance over the blade, and a forward stride that still holds together in the last five minutes of a shift.
First-three-steps and crossover mechanics worked at game speed, not walked through at half pace.
Tight turns and transitions — changing direction without paying for it in speed.
The coach
A professional powerskating instructor trained with Skate Canada and Hockey Canada since 1999, and a three-time national champion with the University of Alberta Pandas. She works under contract with major Junior clubs, minor hockey associations and U Sports women's programs.
The season
Grouped by age and ability. Every ice time is already contracted — nothing here is provisional.
How it works
Grouped by age and ability, on ice already contracted. Registering takes four steps.
You get an email with the exact amount and memo. Payment goes the same day — until it arrives the spot is unconfirmed.
Sign in with an emailed code — no password — to check payment status and subscribe your phone's calendar to every ice time.
Registrations and payments are final — no refunds, and no substituting one participant for another. You confirm this, with the liability release and the sportsmanship commitment, as part of registering. See every camp, date and fee →
Groups are small and fill in the order registrations arrive.
